It does hurt the Kings a bit.
I think I would rather have the Ducks than the Flames. Kings and Ducks have never made the postseason in the same year and never have teams from one division all made the playoffs.

Yeah, those couple phantom penalties called on the Ducks in the 1st and 2nd were a real example of the NHL rigging it for "novelty" teams.
Maybe Calgary should look at themselves in the mirror for getting down 3-0 instead of pointing fingers.
Part of me wants the entire Pacific to make it. But if any of the teams, especially Dallas or Phoenix miss the PO's, I wont shed a tear.
I agree with that, but considering how important these games are, the refs making jackasses of themselves late in this game really spoils it all.
I think it would be good for socal if both teams are in. Maybe the sports news will talk about hockey instead of the Lakers and soon to be the Royals
