Seriously... The infatuation with James Blackman has been ponderous... But then... So has the coaching.

IMO Blackman had the potential, but he's too shell-shocked at this point to realize it. The year he played after Francois went down he should have been redshirted and concentrated on getting bigger to take the abuse. I thought Clemson's Tre Lamar was going to get indicted for attempted murder for this:


That hit alone is ample evidence of the failures of Jimbo Fisher in his waning years at FSU. Lack of OL development and inability to recruit and retain QBs so that you aren't putting a kid in an impossible situation like that.
