It's been said, in sports, ties are like kissing your sister. Sitting at twin 2-2 seasonal records, both New Orleans and Washington are looking to keep their collective heads above the win/loss line at the close of this upcoming game on Sunday. Oddsmakers expect a close game when the New Orleans Saints (2-2) play the Washington Football Team (2-2) as just 1.5-point favorites on Sunday, October 10, 2021. The contest has an over/under of 44.5 points. Facing a gauntlet of likely unwinnable games after Sunday, Washington seems to be in another "must win" situation against the Saints, after escaping with a previous "must win" victory against Atlanta. Predicting this one, could be more difficult for our posters than it's been thus far in the season, but on this board we do, what we do. You know the drill, here are the questions...

1. Who wins this game?

2. Final score?

3. Player(s) of the game?

4. Memorial moment, event or play, that will have everyone talking on Sunday night and Monday mornings?

The supposed defensive turn around never happens . This defense will not turn it around and Jamie’s will be the 2nd coming . The saints are the best on 3rd down and we are the worst . Taysom Hill beat beat our lbs up and score 4 tds , Winston throws for 4 more and we lose 56 to 21

2. Final score? 27-24

3. Player(s) of the game? Heiney throws 3 TD's

4. Memorial moment, event or play, that will have everyone talking on Sunday night and Monday mornings? Tmac's 95 yard bomb!
We all keep doubting this team and for obvious reasons however, we hung tough/could have won vs Chargers, and a contender in Buffalo took care of us. We won the 2 games we should have regardless of how they ended, we won them. We should win again this week and start to gain some momentum. Having said that, jump on board and be a believer because this team is not going away and will be within striking distance by year end 5 division games.

Until we beat contending teams we are a pretender. The saints aren’t a team “we should beat” anymore then the chargers were . The saints are the best team on 3rd down offense and we are historically the worst on 3rd down defense. A win is hardly a given . If being 3-8 is striking distance then maybe we shouldn’t be

I'm calling this the "Duckfoot" game in which a sure victory will be squandered by two missed FG's.

1. Who wins this game? No one, actually Washington loses it, giving the Saints the dub.

2. Final score?
26 -23 (Washington could have won it 29-26)

3. Player(s) of the game?
Kamara/ Winston/ Lutz (and by extension Ron Rivera)

4. Memorial moment, event or play, that will have everyone talking on Sunday night and Monday mornings? Poor outing for the kicking game. Does Rivera stick with Duckfoot or finally replace him? Rivera's blind loyalty and questionable initial roster moves.

Might want to try again on the kicker. (Player of the game) it won’t be lutz

When the margin is 3 and Lutz makes his, while our guy misses two, that looks like a pretty clear player of the game to me in a 26-23 (should be 29-26) game. To be clear, their guy makes all 4 of his FG attempts and the 2 extra points and our guy makes 3 of the 5 FG's that he attempts plus the two extra points. I'm calling this a battle of FG's game, feel free to call it as you see it, we're all correct until the game is played.

Well, that’s fine. The problem is lutz is out. Maybe Cody Parker can be POG.

Could have led with that bit of news, but no matter, Cody Parkey besting Hopkins could happen too! Sticking with my prediction. This is gonna be a field goal game.

4. Another insane catch by Terry, however that will be overshadowed by the 300+ multiple TD game from TH

Lots of injuries.
Some of those 50-50 balls Heinicke has been throwing get picked today ... at least two
The Saints have been running the ball to keep Winston from throwing 40 times a game but may well throw against the WTF D today
Not sure the WTF D can stop the run
I like the Saints to win by 4 or more.
