With all the moves the 49ers have made it the last couple of day's How do you see them finishing in the west now? And has your perception of Trent Baalke changed after all of this?

I say secondary got better still need to replace Spencer.I hope Edwards removes his head from his ass. Hard to say where we'll finish with smith at qb. Overall I say not bad on the moves but not great.

I agree I think this division is so wide open I don't see any team running away with it I think our defense was by far the best but has taken a couple steps back to the rest of the pack in the west but I feel with the weapons we have on offense we could be very good

they need a qb smith is terrible and kapernick i dont ever see being anything but a back-up at best

I'm still considering giving him a pass for this season, whether it turns out good or bad, because the lockout is making it possible for him to even assemble this team of mercenaries.

I doubt we'd be seeing so many 1 year deals under normal circumstances.

I'd also like to see them bring in another vet QB, although to be honest, I'm not even sure if there are any QBs worth bringing in. I'd really like to see Kaepernick sit the year out, that gives any QB a huge advantage in their development.

I wish the new CBA had a two week window for signings every year. I love all the action in a short period.

ESPN board (not shockingly) though the sky was falling. But as the ownership said, they had a plan, and I have no reason to think that they didn't execute it. I think we have put ourselves in a good position to make a run at an NFC West Title.

Alex Smith is a decent quarterback not great but not the worst either. I feel like if he can play like a top 15 quarterback which I personally think he is the 49ers have the talent on offense to win the division. And I think that with Fangio's aggressive style of defense that this group might just surprise some people
