Before the fumble, that kid was awesome. If I remember correctly, Tubbs talked to the kid before the draft and was a big fan. Am I mis-remembering? That kid looks like our Gio.

Yeah.... I think that's definitely correctable. Can't teach that level of athleticism or patience though. He's a good runner.

Gio seems to already have the ball security thing down, which is good for a young, explosive runner.

I was really impressed with the patience Franklin ran with. His longest gains he let the defense overrun him and made the cutback at just the right moment.

Franklin has to make sure he holds on to the ball. Last year at UCLA he cleaned up his fumbling issue, but when fighting for extra yards he has a tendency to pull his arm away from his body, which is exactly what happened on that 4th down play. Like I said though he didn't have any issues at UCLA last year.

True. So we do not have nearly as inept of a OC now. Coslet was crap. And our jet personnel was crap.

How you think the Bernard and Franklin jet would look though?
