Not surprised. The dye was cast when before the 1st Bama game he was asked if he could gain yards against Bama's defense and he said, I ain't skeered of Bama cuz I got a buncha savages with me..........I think Bama held him to negative yards in that game, then the next year he sucked also.
If he could't gain any yards against Bama, the writing was on the wall so to speak.

Prior to the Draft there would have been some interest in Fournette at $4M+, but only for a nominal Draft pick. By all accounts the Jaguars wanted considerably more. I'm not surprised at this move. What happens next depends on contract guarantees and off-set language. I don't see any team claiming Fournette off waivers.
