My wife went to school in Texas. High School was 3 years of Texas history, 1 year of American history. Never a world history or learning about the rest of the world. Now that's a few years ago so it might have changed..... but still


Edit - not meaning to paint her as an ignorant arrogant American. She's traveled, lived, and studied abroad. I just wanted to chime in on how some are just told we are great with no context.
