Anyway, let’s assume Biden wins this for a second.

Without the Senate nothing is getting done for at least two years, right? Like literally not one of these promises is going to make it through Mitch.

And worse, if Covid isn’t drastically brought under control in short order those senate republicans now have a whipping boy in the White House to attack, a guy whose response will likely be garbled gibberish. It’ll make for a pretty realistic chance of taking back the house in 22, keeping the senate and having a measured republican (compared to the current guy) like Cotton or Cruz run in 24 assuming Trump doesn’t run again.

It would be a good start getting rid of Trump but overall I think Democrats have to be pretty disappointed.

Yes...if there is one good to come out of Trump, it's how much power the Senate truly holds

They called 3 of the 4 EVs because Maine splits by Congressional district (Biden is ahead in the other currently, but not called).

Regarding Collins: If she doesn't hit 50%, Maine uses a ranked voting system, which means that they consider second choices, etc., throwing out the lowest vote getters, so it could change things if Collins is below 50% when the first tally comes in.

GA Secretary of State just said about 200K outstanding votes to count yet. At the current margins, Biden would need them to break approximately 72-28. Big lift statewide, but if a lot of those are in Fulton and DeKalb, it's possible.
