Ok - looking for some ideas and /or suggestions ...
I'm going to buy some Giant memorabilia but I'm not sure exactly what. I do know it will most likely be be a 'signed' jersey. Currently in my den area I have a signed NYR team jersey in a shadowbox on one side of the wall. That's the wife's contribution to the room. She's a fanatic NYR fan. I want a Giant jersey (or something) on the other side. I first stated thinking about a Willie Mays jersey. I grew up with Willie (I'm pushing 70 now). He is one of my all time favorite players ... ever. Then I also saw a Juan Marichal signed jersey. Probably my favorite Giant pitchers. I'm also am toying with the idea of a team signed jersey. But I'd like to wait until I see a 2016 one. I'd love to have one with all the 'current' players on it. 2016 could be another banner year for them. 2010, 2012, 2014 and now 2016.

Any suggestions?

You grew up with Mays and McCovey, so that should carry a lot of weight. But Posey carried this team into the stratosphere.

You have to listen to your heart. When you close your eyes and clear your mind, and your wife says "Giants", who is the first person to come to your mind?

What, its not Mark Leonard?
OMG...

I remember when he was supposed to be "the next one"...

"You Gotta Love These Kids" was such a fun period for Giants fans.

Candy Maldonado?
He wasnt a gold-glover, but I think he gets a bad wrap from Giants fans. He was a decent #5 hitter, and he had a great name.

He would be a HUGE fan fave at AT&T.

Nah, I wanted the worst player on the worst SF Giants team. LeMaster, Hack Man, and Scot Thompson were in the convo, but Wellman's 400 innings of pure, unadulterated suck really epitomized the 1985 season.

And yet they threw him out there for 400 innings?!?!
