All that leaning would explain all of the ankle and feet problems.....

On a real note, although he was an AWESOME player. I'm glad that Flopsberg is finally calling it a career. Good riddance, the guy made Brett Favre look like a straight shooter.

It's not as if he's been wavering back and forth on whether or not he wants to play like Favre has. Forsberg very clearly wants to play hockey, but he's having to fight the better judgment of doctors, just as he did during the SCF in 2001.

I was trying to use a little hyperbole there Quoi, perhaps unsuccessfully.....

But dude, the guy used his agent to trumpet out these he maybe can play, then he couldn't, but he really wanted to, then couldn't play, but he got these new skates, then couldn't play, then his heart was still in it but his body wasn't, then couldn't play, then just take one year off,then couldn't play, then get ready by playing for Modo, then couldn't play.

I know there's obviously a difference between him and Favre as far as indecision goes.....as Favre couldn't decide adn Forsbergs body decided for him.....but still, in my opinion, it was still really dooshy of him (even if it was his agents idea). I mean, why not just wait to tell the world (or teams that are interested) until he knew for SURE could play. Yaderimean?

No can do. He's not old enough and besides, we just filled two spots: signed Stevie Y for 8 years, and Gordie to a 12 year deal. Holland said, via twitter, that he hopes he still has enough cap room to sign a veteran forward.
