Fact after fact after fact in this article shows otherwise.

Here's one of the salient graphics that speaks volumes in its simplicity.

Check out what the M's have been actually spending profits on, how their profits are about to explode thanks to the Root TV deal, and how little any of it has to do with putting together a team that's anything but a huge joke.

The whole "The $10m used to build the video screen did not come out of player payroll" comment by Lincoln is such a joke.

Think about it for a second, we all have household budgets, if you decide not to spend $10m on something (Video screen) wouldn't that logically mean you would have $10m to spend on another part of your budget?

The team functions to maximize profits, not maximize wins. Nothing new here.

That comment really made no sense...

Let me make it clearer. My comparison didn't really make much sense.

Saying that the $10m for the video screen did not come from player payroll is bullshit. If they didn't spend the $10m on the video screen they would have had $10m to spend on player salaries.

Better?

How does a graph showing the m's have lost 1 million over the last 4 years show that they arent interested in building a competitive team? If they just cared about the money im sure they could have made some over that period.

It's not rocket science.

Anyhoo, thanks to NW for pointing out the big error about the sports complex.

Your makin no sense bud. If the ms were just in it purely for the profit they could have made a lot more over the last 4 years then -1 mil. Why upgrade safeco and invest in an international base? Waste of money if they arent going to get people to the stadium.
