Stop it.
It's not going to happen nor should it.

It'll be very, very close...Especially if Stanford wins out, faces a ranked Arizona State or UCLA team in the PAC-12 CG. Stanfords resume will be very impressive. Ohio State quality win at this moment is Wisconsin, who for whatever reason is getting no love in the polls so it really doestn help Ohio State when you compare them to other top 5 teams. Also, it appears Ohio State wont get a highly ranked team in the CCG, unless MSU keeps winning, but Sparty has a tough road ahead of them.
The team Buckeyes need to worry about is Baylor. They have Okie State, Texas remaining, plus lets see how Oklahoma finishes the season.
They may not get ranked over osu, but they are certainly better. So is baylor.
Based on what exactly?

His opinion.
Well yeah, it'd just be nice if maybe people actually could explain themselves when they throw stuff out there. IMO Ohio State was easily a top 5 team to start the season and has looked better and better every week.
It is NOT a transitive property.
The transitive property is suggesting that if A>B and B>C then A would beat C.
That doesn't work in colleg football.
But, this is not a transitive property question.
This is two teams playing one opponent in common.
Admittedly the sample is tiny, but opponents in common is a valuable indicator.
And since the coach of Cal gets a vote, it can actually have a direct effect on the polls.
