I don't know if this is new or I just missed it when I signed up, but I just noticed that if you click on edit team settings for your team, there is a setting for page theme.
It's set on "Night Game (light text on dark)" by default, but if you switch it to "Day Game" you get the traditional white background so you can actually see what the hell is going on. I don't know about anyone else, but that colored background played hell with my eyes.
