As is the rulebook. Briere was not looking behind at Bergeron, nor did he make any attempt to steer into Bergeron's way. He merely coasted through the neutral zone and Bergeron tried to go through him. That is perfectly fine according to the rulebook.

I dunno, I saw a split second of it, and just heard the audio, looked like some holding in the neutral zone, which in turn doesnt allow Bergeron to get back fast enough. Not saying its definite... But going by what I heard and what I saw for the split second, seemed right.
