DO not know anything about either team, but seem to comment. Let me give you some insight.

FSU has every skill position on offense back except QB and FB. We have our entire OL back minus our RT who only played 1 year at FSU. His replacement started every game as a 17 yr old true freshman then got beat out buy an older guy the next year. Our defense has new starters, but all of them played a lot of minutes last year except for 1 guy who was out with a knee injury.


Pitt has one WR and TE back at the skill position. Couple that with only 2 returning guys on the OL and starting a true Frosh at LT and a converted DE at RT in their first starts ever is not a good thing. Pitt has a decent front 7 on D, but not really dominating in any fashion. Their NT is a small one, but quick as hell. Their one CB and SS are the two stars of the defense.


Here is the real key. The game is going to be long due to severe thunderstorms tonight. Means FSU is going to rely on the OL and 2 starting RBs with some a 3rd RB thrown in there for good measure. Do not see a lot of passing from FSU unless the rains hold off or are short. Jimbo will run the ball all game if it is raining.

Do you really want to talk about choking away seasons? If so lets go ahead and do that. If you do not know what either team is having to replace either look it up or ask what team has to replace what before commenting. That is all. Oh and to let you know. From 1987-2000(The Dynasty). FSU had ONE undefeated season. 6 two loss seasons. Which leaves 7 1 loss seasons. Having a loss is nothing new for FSU. What you define as choking away seasons is different than someone else's. All opinion.


I was giving you exactly what each team lost and is bringing back on both sides of the ball. Take it for what it is. Do not result to the snide comments or I can start on your team. Believe me there is much more to put on your team than FSU.

One could say the same about the Ducks, however that would be disrespectful and small minded. There are several reasons why both Oregon and FSU has come up short and choking is not on the list. That said, FSU should easily dominate tonight because FSU is simply too big and to fast for the smaller Panthers to handle....and I say should...that's why they play the game. Sh...happens.
