Didn't see one up and I just turned the game on as Kings take a penalty about 8 minutes in. There is one hell of a pace to this game in the 3 minutes I have watched so far. Bourque went to the bench a little woozy after a collision.

The boys wore the retro jerseys for the home opener tonight (and upped their record to 7-0 in those silks)

I don't know what Bernier was expecting on the shorty. The only move the guy could have made was to back in front of the net to the other post. He should have known that move was coming.

Damn the Flames to hell. Kings lost AGAIN in Calgary. What is that 5 years and no wins in that building no matter the name? Did not help that that game 21 hours earlier went to OT. Also the Flames got ripped for not playing well in their previous game. Kings looked tired and slow for all of the first and most of the third. I expect line changes for the Kings next game, because it is the only way the coach feels he is doing something.
two points on a two game road trip (both teams home openers) is a fair amount.

Yeah, the Kings looked pretty pooped last night from a rough, physical game the night before (with travel and time change, they probably got to sleep a little after 2 am Sunday morning).
