since you're a fan, I assume you actually watch the games. A bit disingenuous to try and suggest Boldin isn't an elite receiver you can lean on and count on to make huge catch after huge catch in big games or to try and somehow suggest that they don't have one of the best running backs in the league today and didn't have a group of defensive players that are considered one of the best groups in the history of the league.
maybe ,,maybe not ...lol .. but they sure had the ravens number yesterday didnt they ?

Boldin is average WR, but he is an elite WR at going up and getting those jump balls. Boldin a hard nosed WR that isn't afraid to get physical plus he is one of the best I've ever seen at winning jump balls but to sit here and say he is elite is wrong because the guy is too slow and inconsistent.
They have actually through the years had better defenses and a better running game and had far less success than they have had with Flacco. It's that simple.
that's pretty much my take on him, if you still had him you guys would be better be cause Flacco needs a guy to get jump balls to cover up his inadequacy as a qb.

not really, Joe lead the Ravens down for a score, to tie the game, The thing that lost the game for the Ravens was stupid penalties and stupid coaching moves like the on side kick WTF.
yea he blind squirreled that for sure ...and penalties and coaching is always a good excuse to explain a loss
Well, there are a few hundred other factors including what was going on with the other teams at the times they played them too, but let's just credit a barely average qb. I don't care really. pay him the money, all of it and let him play out his contract. it will keep continue to not pay dividends![]()

I'm not quite sure how anyone could have watched that game and come away with Flacco being the reason for the loss.

Yes...the Ravens will never win with Flacco at QB.
It's just tough to argue with cold, hard speculation like that.
at least i wan't like Steeler fans and blamed the refs. Ravens just flat out sucked yesterday.
No Flacco needs a running game, and an o-line. if you knew anything about the Ravens you'd know these are our two biggest weakness.
it's tough to argue when you find whatever meaning you'd like and then try and debate something that was never said. He's an average qb. Period. Someone tried to imply that he's not because of him making it to the playoffs so often. Many average qb's make the playoffs on the backs of a great running back, WR making every clutch catch he can and defenses that are adequate, let alone one that has been regarded as one of the best groups of defensive players in NFL history.
The vikings went to the playoffs with Christian Ponder for crying out loud. They had no WR's, decent Oline and pretty good defense and one great RB.
As long as the Ravens keep a good defense and RB around Flacco, I'm sure they will win some. But as we can see, take away an elite defense, and a go to WR, though one could argue the Ravens do have WR's to fill the void, we can already see how much he struggles even with one of the better RB's in the league and a pretty good defense. But like I said, continue to pay him and think he's worth it.
because he's barely adequate as a QB. You're making my point for meany qb can do well with that. Dilfer won a superbowl too
Timmy Tebow won a lot of games too
