In the moment I was happy Dan got the team. All we heard was how big of a Skins fan he was and how cheap Milstein was.

Definitely blew the Ricky Williams haul.

As for # 4 above. Things are really put into perspective when Dan Turk (the snapper for that one & some other mistakes) died of cancer shortly after this in 2000. Sometimes football is just not really that important.

As for # 4 above. Things are really put into perspective when Dan Turk (the snapper for that one & some other mistakes) died of cancer shortly after this in 2000. Sometimes football is just not really that important.

They hit on Samuels and Arrington … I would say 2012 was a worse draft. Griffin was a bust and not only hurt this draft but several others too. Cousin's in the 4th round and Morris in the 6th round are all that made this draft decent but 2012 screwed several drafts.

5a. Jack Kent Cook dying, it led to Snyder being the owner a couple of years later

1. Not getting to attend more games at RFK stadium. An incredible experience back in the day.
2. Didn't realize it at the time but Jack Kent Cooke dying leading to the demise of the franchise.
3. Sean Taylors death. When another team game plans around you it means you're something special.
4. Having to listen to the idiots about changing our iconic name.
5. Losing to the Raiders in SB XVIII

note: number one isnt a moment persay,, but it was a moment in time for me. Especially when we beat the Vikings to go to the super bowl and after the game the fans that stayed (quite a few) all were chanting continuously in unison "Sit on the mic.. Sit on the mic" (don't ask me why) to Jimmy the Greek as he did his broadcast from just off the field.... ahhh good times.

The complete inability to draft a consistent winner after Gibbs left.

Getting rid of Schottenheimer, and following him up with a series of awful coaches.

Winning the offseason every year, until the last few.

Watching Patrick Ramsey getting pummeled then turning gunshy behind a terrible oline.

Suffering through Jason Campbell.

Wasting London Fletcher’s last great years.

Watching attendance drop, rightly so, during home games, enough for Redskin players to call out fans for not attending.
