I'm looking for someone who knows about these things.....
My Dad passed 9 yrs ago,and Ive got his gun and one of his tackle boxes......
I'm not a fisherman nor hunt, but a guy that knew my Dad has an auction house.....
I'm thinking of auctioning those items off.......
As for the lures, are they one of tjose things that should not be cleaned, such as guns and coins....??
Some of these lures has some white powder like resin on them....I think they should be soaked in water atleast to be more presentable.
Only a few look like this......

Some of these lures are also made of wood, paint is chipped, but my Dad was a big fisherman so they are well used....
The auctioneer is arriving at my place this week sometime, and I have no idea how much(probably over 130) of them could fetch....
Nor do I know the value of his gun......
Its a 1960 Marlin Golden 39-A 23 inch barrel......

Nor is it registered nor do I have a foid card......can it be legally auctioned.....??
Any help would be helpful.......
