FINALLY see a win at Verizon. It's been 7 straight losses (4 straight in OT) and since November since I saw a win there. Just went over for the 3rd period from work since I'm here late, my boss had a ticket and couldn't go, and I thought I'd take a break.

What a goal by OV - that's probably in his top 20, maybe even top 10. Definitely an awesome hour at the arena, even if we couldn't take the freakin' zone on our power play.

He's been "looking" a lot more like himself for the past 10 games or so. Just more energetic, more of a burst, not losing the puck as often. He has 5 goals and 5 assists in his last 9. Still want to see more scoring and better finishing from him, but he's definitely getting back the mojo. A good (and necessary) sign for any playoff chances this year.

Made a great pass that made the game tying goal a tap in for Laich. I only saw part of the game, but heard from others he was solid. I think Wideman played pretty well also.

Meanwhile, Semin missed an open net that looked so easy the goal horn guy in the arena simply assumed it went in. Never have seen (heard) that at a game before.

Also big ups to the Isles. They have their issues, but you can see a lot of young talent there and they are nothing if not exciting to watch.
