Reason number 2698 why this is such a stupid league.

Today is the first day of the playoffs. There are only two games. The league schedulers in their wisdom are starting one game at 5 PM central and the other at 7:30 central.

Both are in the central time zone. Couldn’t find a team in the east to play today?

I don’t recall the last time a hockey game finished in 2 1/2 hours, so I fully expect either the late game will be delayed or we will have to miss the start of it. Heaven help us if Winnipeg/St. Louis goes to overtime.
