Great series, Habs. They are on the rise. Both of these teams have a lot of young, talented guys. May not be the last time we see them in a series in the next few years. Chapeaus off, Habs.
Also glad to see the Caps get back to form after a dulling end of the season. Great to have Thompson and Protas back healthy.
Since the ‘98 Cup Finals team, this only the third time the Caps have won a series in less than six games (2010 vs Rangers, 2018 vs Vegas in finals). Crazy, but pretty great.

Habs impressed me. They didn't fall into the trap so many teams do against the Caps which is the Caps play so heavy and they challenge you to come at them. And then they pound you when you do. No one on the Habs (except for Josh Anderson) took the bait. They stayed in their game, used their speed and had success. Other teams, like mine with boneheads like Gubberson, Johnson and Olivier) would have been on the PK like 80% of the time.
Habs will be fun to watch. Will be interesting to see what tweaks they make. I would expect Ehlers to go there, unless the Habs are already done with Laine.
Congrats Caps, and a series between them and the Canes feels like it should be a conference final. Cream of the crop in the East.
