I was overall fine with how the game was called but whistling JT on that with a minute to go a goal down is kinda Fucked.

Surprised no one ripped Domi's legs off and beat him to death with them.

To be fair (distorted), it was Derek Roy level dive from Sway

It did seem to give some jump to the Bruins.

Maroon did a chase after the fact but the refs were all over him.

After the years of Boston shithousing this doesn’t bother me at all. I’m much more perturbed at the fact we can’t clear the zone or that Samsonov went full Freddie and started letting in absurdly easy shots after being a brick wall for 40 minutes.

Oh, and that little special teams problem where we ours don’t score and theirs apparently can’t be stopped from scoring. You’d think maybe the coach would switch up PP1 at the very least.

Keefe is the real problem. Sure, Samsonite let in a howler but he kept it close enough. Why would you as a coach not put your best scorers on the ice at the end when trying to tie it up?

If I had a nickel for every time Keefe put out the entirely wrong line for a situation just in this series already alone I could buy Mar A Lago.

If you search Twitter for "4th line" i'm almost positive every response you see will be "WHY IS THE 4TH LINE OUT THERE RIGHT AFTER A BRUINS GOAL?!?!"

This was also a common refrain for Darryl Sutter's 2nd tenure as coach of the Flames.

I'll defend Keefe to a point in that I don't think anybody can get really far with this blue line and maybe the shakiest goaltending in the playoffs outside Edmonton and LA but he has so consistently gotten outcoached for so god damn long by every playoff opponent he's come up against that there isn't even a chance here unless the guys making $45 million show up and tear up the scoreboard which, three games in, doesn't look like it's in the cards.

You can't claim to be serious about winning like that. You can't look at teams like Vegas and Dallas who shift gears as soon as it looks like shit's going sideways and come out the other end better for it and keep putting out Kyle's BFF acting like maybe this time he'll figure out a competent breakout.

Anyway, don't think anyone will have to argue too hard to let him go after this season anyway.

I feel for Willy if this is indeed the case but tinfoil hat me still thinks he's pissed and using something hard to pin down medically to stay out.

But to what end? Force a trade? Get Keefe fired?

Keefe fired, show management that you just gave me $11 mil and those cheques don't bounce so don't shit on my play in the media when I'm coasting during meaningless end of regular season games.

Dude held out half a season for like half a million bucks, if he wants to sit on business on this subject it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Keefe is just hoping for more PPs. Cant blame him cause Leafs PP is really good.

I think he'd be happier in a smaller market. Perhaps one where his brother already is.

He also needs a coach who is terrified to take a stand.
