Actually I was watching a game in Boston a week or so ago and a cop kept having fans back away from the glass. I dont know if it was because it was behind the players bench or if they do it in general now.

While I do think the green guys are funny. I do agree with some people that you are there to watch hockey, not focus on two guys getting their kicks off by taunting players in the penalty box. I would be irritated if I were sitting behind them. It is funny though, but I could see it getting titing after a while. However tradition like throwing the octopus should never be banned...

I have sat next to the Penalty box in LA, Anaheim and Dallas and in all three places I was told if I taunt the players or touch the glass I would be removed. This before the warm-ups and I was just sitting there eating and talking to my wife.
