first horrendous game of Dalton's career

looked like a rookie today, bound to happen sooner or later. The future is bright

Even so, in a bad game, he's done some really good things....I agree about the future......

He had some poor throws but to his credit he rallied his team back in a hostile environment. he didnt seem to dwell on his mistakes and came back to make plays. I have no dount that had his O-line not failed him he woulda threw for a TD on that last drive...he was playing lights out at that point and with a lot of confidence (in spite of making mistakes and playing against a great Defense).

This was the worst game I've seen the Bengals play all season, and they were still in it at the end. This team is turning a corner. Give us a B+ or better draft and a key FA signing or two, and they are going to be a force for a while.

Problem is we still have a mediocre head coach, at best.

It wasn't a great game, but I wouldnt call it horrendous...

375 yds against the Ravens as a rookie is impressive. the turnovers are to be expected for a young QB seeing that D for the first time

To be fair, when the OP started the thread it was just after Dalton's third pick made the score 31-14, and before the ill fated but exciting attempted comeback....at that point horrendous was a decent call....

Next week's game now becomes a must-win game. Dalton has had 2 straight bad games. He needs to turn it around. Divisional games are never easy.

I thought he made two bad passes - Passes you can't make in this league. He played well down the stretch though and gave his team a shot to tie. Would be nice if our supposed All-Pro Andrew Whitworth didn't get beaten like a drum.

Couldn't agree more with this. And after giving up 2 three man rush sacks on the last drive it better be an O-line focused draft

well, we are showing how we can compete.... guys, we are almost there..

one more A Draft, because it does show how vulnerable we are at the corner right now and we have GOT to improve the O line...

but, man do I like the way we came back, very exciting game for the fan. I don't know if we will make the playoffs this year, but it is good to be back competing, thats for dam sure!!
