The one thing that stands out is, we still have a good ground game. Both Morris and Helu were getting it done. That hit Griffin took is a SMH moment, but he got the ball off and completed the pass.

On to the 2nd half to take a look at the guys who are just hoping to make the roster in alot of cases.

What stood out to me was how we controlled the LOS on defense. our front 7 played tough. Rak blew past solder on a couple of occasions. Kerrigan was all over the field when he was in there.

Yea... but I sorta kinda expected to see that from our defensive front seven, even with Hatcher not playing. I was worried that we come out throwing the ball a million times a game. But if we lean on our ground game, and the defense is middle of the pack, I think we have a fair shot at improving.

I agree and really hope that's the plan. We also need a break in the injury dept. There are certain positions we can not afford injuries (LT, for example)

I agree Forbath is cutting himself tonight.

Its only preseason, but I have seen more creativity from the defense than I saw most of last season.

The whole 2nd half. He was 8/9 for 102 yards and a TD in the 3rd quarter.

as far as a preseason game goes the o-line looked good in both run and pass protection and Griffin only threw 4 times he was 2 of 4 they mostly ran the ball

Perhaps a bigger WR comes down with the pin point pass Griffin hit Robinson with in the end zone who could not control his body and landed his hand/arm out of bounds.
