ok seriously fuck Rinaldo. We trade Carter for the #8 and this guy goes out of his way to hit him hard? Wtf is he thinking? I understand messing around or playing tough but that was fucking stupid.

yeah that hit was one of those ones that would probably get looked at for suspension in todays nhl. arms up near the head, late, and he left his feet, the triple whopper. i don't need our young guy getting killed, but im sure he was getting cocky (most good young hockey players are) and maybe he needs to be lit up, but without getting injured jesus.

You just don't do that in today's NHL. Maybe back in the old days to teach a kid a lesson, yea I am sure that happened all the time.

In today's league teams invest too much in their players. Couturier is already a huge investment since we basically shipped out Carter for him. I'd be surprised if Rinaldo didn't get a nice talkin to after that one.
