He was actually doing the rounds on the morning shows today too. That's cold. Like if you're gonna fire me, don't let me do a full day's work and then kick me out the door

He'll resurface with another network

There's a very high likelihood that the NBA will be splitting up its media rights when they sign the new contract next year between 3 networks (TNT, ESPN/ABC, and someone else). I'll bet a fat stack he ends up at NBC, Apple, or Amazon (whoever wins the bid)

At the least, they should cut down his appearances. Having to travel to a different city every week has got to be rough on him.
