I think Darryl Sutter is a better coach than GM and he does have a way of bringing guys together. You never have to worry about a lack of effort from a Darryl Sutter coached team and with the skill set the Kings possess, it could turn out to be a very good hire.

I don't think Brown will lose a letter. He is thought well as a leader on the Kings and in the league, despite what we see.

To expand on captaincy:
I’ve always been perplexed at Brown’s assignment to captain. I understand that I don’t know the inner workings of the organization but this one I really never got.

Richards should be the captain for the next year (2012-13 season). Just needs a little time to adjust to the new team. I think brown will be infinitely better without the captain duties. And if worse comes to worst, Brown will be hittin’ people left and right.

I think it would be an interesting situation if the Kings started playing to their potential with Stevens in charge. Unlikely, but interesting.
