Chargers and Chiefs surprised everyone. Much better teams than they were last year.

Raiders still living up to expectations though.

What scares me as a Broncos fan is that the AFC West has to play the NFC West and AFC East next season. That is brutal.

The nice thing is though SOS is about the most overrated stat there is in the NFL. 2 years ago the Broncos were supposed to have the toughest schedule in the NFL and most picked the Chiefs to win the division because of that. Then this season they were supposed to have one of the easiest because of the division they are in and then the AFC West has proven to probably be the best one in the AFC this season.

Point being who knows how these teams will be next year. The AFC East could go down hill quickly as could the NFC West. At the same time both could be dominant making it a grueling schedule for sure.

Yeah I know. You really don't know how tough a schedule truly was until the season is over. I'm just saying it looks scary going into next year.

It definitely does. I could see the AFC East having a little more of a down year but the NFC West looks like they have some staying power so my guess is they will be as advertised.

It's always a crap shoot. No one, and I mean no one, predicted the Texans to drop 13 games in a row this year.

And while I thought the Chiefs would improve, their success this year has been a real surprise.

I guess my point is either the 49ers or Seahawks could have either key injuries or loss to free agency that could set them back.

You just never know. Rams defense is pretty good as is the Cardinals. They get better on offense and they are contenders.

Lol, I knew the thread was going to be started by a fan of an NFC West team but I'm surprised that they're also the only ones to post thus far.

Umm Broncos aren't in the NFC West.

Wait... there are different conferences? Since when? I meant the West conferences that have the best records but I admit it didn't come out anywhere near right.

In the press conference after his last game, Peyton meant to say that the AFC West was a tough division but he said NFC West which had nothing to do with what he was talking about. Freudian slip for sure
