My only concern with this is whether or not it increases the incidence of knee injuries. Some studies say yes, some say no. Most of the ones I read say there will be about a 20-25 increase in knee injuries.

I figure they practice on this type of turf daily, so I wouldn't think there would be much of a change from what they are used to.

9 stripes in each end zone (for a total of 18). At a 42 degree angle. I guess they felt we needed a constant reminder that the school was founded in 1842. There are some strange people in the athletic department.

Love the new look. Yes will miss the grass but love what they did here. Lets just hope we have the speed to play on this type of field.

They have been getting more and more speed, I think it is a bit overrated about the speed issue that might come up anyway.
