I wonder how the grass field is looking anyone know?

It better be looking green. If you can't grow grass this summer with the weather we have had in the DC area this year, you really need to live in an apartment.

They installed a new kind of grass, and... It looks like grass.

Need to see if it still looks like grass in December

Hopefully they won't have numerous concerts and high school football games during the season. They wore the field out by the end of the year. It wasn't just the Redskins using the field every week.

Peterson, RG3 twice and the guy from Seattle, all major players injured on our field. What an embarrassment. We better get this field thing right this season.

Beyond embarrassment. It's a shame Snyder can't address this on going issue and simply go synthetic. That old time football natural feeling is a thing of the past. Time to go modern.

To be fair the first RG3 injury was because of the tackle. But I agree. Its something you would THINK would have been taken care of long ago.

Not sure why he didn't opt for synthetic, but hopefully this new durable grass holds up. I'm kinda glad actually now that I think about it that we have an owner like Synder who want's to keep the tradition of RFK stadium with the fans and keeps it FedEx natural. The problem is just that the weather in this region is cool and damp in the fall and with all the other activities that go on there it seems like he will be shelling out a lot more moola in the long run just to keep it fresh. Must be nice to have money.
