yuck.

For a while we had the refillable cups and would grind and fill our own, but it was enough work that we just gave up and went back to a real coffee maker.

We gave all our K-cups to my in-laws. I probably ordered 50 different varieties and they all tasted horrible. Every once in a while I'll use one in a hotel and it brings it all back.

Well. Your not wrong with hotel coffee.

When I was in Vancouver last week. The hotel we were at had Nespresso machines in the rooms.

Let's just say that it tasted so bad and there so complicated to use that I'm never buying one.

I found the refillable containers for the Keurig would always leave sediment at the bottom of every cup and the flow of water through them made a crap cup of coffee. I gave my Keurig to my grandma, switched to a French press, and never looked back.

Like others, I had zero luck with the refillable K-cup gadget: just a big mess and coffee full of sediment.

Whole bean freshly ground in the french press when I am not in a hurry.
Whole bean ground for the week in a slow drip for the daily ritual.

There is not a K Cup out there that is strong enough to tastes good enough.
No, the refillable K Cups don't work either. The Keurigs just blow the water through too fast.
