It's close for me, but I went with Greek food. Nothing better than lamb over rice, especially when you can get a huge ass portion of it with a soda and a pack of smokes for $8 in most inner-city Greek jawns. Chinese and Mexican are runners-up. What do you guys like?
Greek, Mexican, Italian.

Tex Mex is the correct answer.
There are about a dozen of these restaurants within a 2 mile area from my house.

I actually kind of disagree with @StanMarsh51 on this one- I think you can fuck Mexican up. Like that shit looks like it could be a frozen dinner, no offense

I love some middle eastern (falafels); Greek - souvlaki, greek salad; Italian - pizza and lasagna.

I like to pick and choose the best of everything. But I'm very partial to Korean BBQ, pizza, and teppenyaki. And if I had to choose one food to eat everyday for the rest of my life it would probably be fried rice with any protein. Which is pretty general to a lot of Asian cuisines.

Fatbastard that I very well could be....ranked 1 threw no particular order.

1) Italian. Good, real Italian. There are some places in and around Boston that I still dream about. There is nothing but barely edible in Tennessee. Even the chain Italian restaurants are better. Maggiano's, Carrabba's, Buca di Beppo are all ok. Demo's? They'll give you a shaker of garlic salt if you ask for extra garlic.

1) Japanese. Sushi mostly.

1) Chinese. See #1. Nothing good in TN. Forbidden City in VA Beach back in the '90s was awesome but not quite Boston good.

1) Mexican. Lotsa good Mexican in TN. Cheap, good and filling.

1) Southern. Does that count? Don't get me wrong, Beans and Franks followed by a whoopee pie on Saturday night is all good, but nothing beats good BBQ or Brisket. With corn bread.

1) Abigfuckincheesebuger. Nuff said.

See, now I have to go work out, so I can eat again. Youbastards.

I'm in South Florida and there's a lot of Jewish Delis down here. I am really liking the corned beef and Pastrami sandwiches for lunch. I've gotten a little adventurous with my morning bagel. Instead of just cream cheese I've been getting smoked whitefish salad , its unbelievably good, and also chopped liver spread is much better than thought it would be. So I'm adding jewish food to the list.

Euros got it down…French, Italians and Spainish et al.

Fresh made pasta is a real eye-popper, sauces from the real cooks of course and fish prepared by those closest to the sea.

I could really go for some peanut curry Thai noodle with whatever right now.

Nah, with beef.

Chicken is always good, but when its the thin steak, man that's good.

Third or fourth time Id eaten there in a week. Lol. He tried to talk me into some shrimp deal next time.

Yeah, nice try buddy. It's chimichangas, maybe the spicy chicken ones.

Nothing can beat the likes of teriyaki, sushi, and the best date night choice, the mighty Japanese steakhouse.

Had Tex Mex yesterday.
Delicious.

Although it's not "ethnic" any more.
It's purely American now.

I'm starting to come around to some Indian dishes, as long as the spices aren't overpowering. I'll try to make Chicken Tikka Masala soon. That's more of a British spin on Chicken Tikka that started in the 1960's I read.

They also have good bread in the main Indian Restaurant I've been to. Unleavened, well seasoned, and not too dry.
