Happy Fathers Day to all of you Dads out there, and Rest in Peace to those no longer with us.
Still think the #1 priority is bullpen but also believe the Rangers may also look a quality starter not just this season also for 2024. DeGrom will be out most of the 2024 season and there’s no guarantee that the Rangers will bring back Perez so there may be 2 holes in Starting Rotation and Heaney is a question markA couple of weeks ago I suggested the Rangers should go after a really good upper level pitcher to provide starting pitcher depth. Since they are stretching out both Ragans and Otto, that may no longer be a need. That is especially so seeing how much Bradford has improved.
Or maybe Otto is back and we get Owen WhiteStill think the #1 priority is bullpen but also believe the Rangers may also look a quality starter not just this season also for 2024. Re Lowe defense.
The "Face" of the franchise, at least on this board.
Is there something wrong with Duran physically? Because if there isn't he is missing way too much time playing. When it comes to being a RH bat I don't care if a righty or lefty is pitching. Play him. Either Garver or Jankowski can sit and watch.
Yep, bullpen has been a priority for me too. It has been since last October. I do think they will make one or two non-bullpen trades in addition to one or two bullpen related trades.Still think the #1 priority is bullpen but also believe the Rangers may also look a quality starter not just this season also for 2024. Or to Moreland and Davis. Even Gallo was pretty good defensively at 1B.Like to see improvement there but it is hard to measure up defense to Ronald Guzman
Bochy and his typical big-league-manager-penchant for veterans over young, inexperienced guys is the only thing wrong with Duran. If you don't come up as vaunted as Jung, Kinsler, Blalock, Gallo, and Elvis then you have to claw and scratch your way into a big league manager's confidence, unless you have a manager who frequently thinks outside the box. It isn't really Bochy's fault. It is basically institutional discrimination against younger players. Is there something wrong with Duran physically? All maybesOr maybe Otto is back and we get Owen White
Maybe Ohtani???

I think book on Duran is out. He will need to recognize the offspeed and breaking balls betterBochy and his typical big-league-manager-penchant for veterans over young, inexperienced guys is the only thing wrong with Duran. It seemed like he may not have fully recovered from the oblique injury as he seems to be a little tentative the last few games. Give a couple of days off and watch him come roaring back.Is there something wrong with Duran physically? Because if there isn't he is missing way too much time playing. Garver and Jankowski and Smith and Grossman will get some playing time but the normal everyday DH will be Duran with Jankowski/Smith/Grossman splitting LF. Garver & Grossman will get an occasion game at DH. And Garver and Huff will get an occasional game at CI think book on Duran is out. He will need to recognize the offspeed and breaking balls better
Still think he is everdsy LF
Not ready to condemn his use if Duran yet.
Really did not get his day off and so he went with Garver
Just hope he taps the brakes on the use of Robbie
It certainly does. They don't trust them, sometimes to their own detriment. Mostly, they are afraid they will lose the clubhouse if they don't bend over backwards for the veterans. That is exactly why we have seen so much Calhoun, Culberson, Miller, and Grossman over the last 2 or 3 years.Young and inexperienced may have something to do with it
