40 is a damn spring chicken. It's not until about 45 that the wheels start to fall off the cart. At 40 there are professional athletes still earning an income. At 50 you could fuck up a knee if you aren't paying exclusive attention to the number of steps in the stairway. I just turned 53 three weeks ago, let me tell you time is a bitch that runs up on you like a Kenyan in the last 200 yds. of a marathon.
