Fantasy Football Trophies...

I think at next year's Annual Summer Meeting we will discuss getting a new trophy. The league may not even care about it, since that's sort of the reason we don't have any kind of ritual for it. Everyone who has won the past few years have either live on another continent or have told me they don't need the trophy. Half the league hasn't even seen it. But, I plan on bringing up the idea and I did a quick search on the ol' interwebs and came across a couple of ideas of good starts.

What I wanted to ask in this thread was where do you guys get your trophies from? Do you get 1 trophy and update the winner plate every year? Good/Bad experiences with companies throughout the years? Do you have any unique rituals with the trophy? Any unique trophies or belts or rings or things of that nature?

Have a wrestling belt for 1 league, pretty cool idea

We named a league for a small town near us. Marengo. Naturally, we called the title game the Marengo Bowl. One of the owners did a Google search on that phrase.

His search discovered the WH Grindley company in England that makes China. They have a pattern of white China with gold trim called "The Marengo."

His search also showed a sugar bowl in this pattern for sale. He bought it and we passed the Marengo sugar bowl to each champion until the league broke up (5 years).

My very first league in 2001 was started by a plumber, so we made a goalpost out of galvanized pipe for the trophy.

Well, this is what we have in Bandit's $$ league .... and it's mine, all mine for another 6 months (at least).
