so I know the OG posters have the monster league I was seeing if anyone wanted to start/join another 49er FFL? I'm not doing my family league this year so I'll have some extra time on my hand. let me know if anyone is interested.

There are actually 3 SportsHoopla FFB leagues I am aware of but I'm sure there are more. I have a yahoo league that I'm not sure if I'm continuing with again this season. If not I may start a Niners league. I will post here if I do.

Cool glad there is some support. I like to play IDP and was interested in a keeper league since I never played in one. Opinions on the format? I'm good with 10-12 teams right now we are at 6 so I'll bump this thread for a few days to see if anyone else want to join.

Oh if it's IDP then I'm out. Just never liked using Defensive players. Anything else I'm down for. I think 12 team leagues are the best.

It doesn't have to be IDP that just something that I prefer now if the majority of people like Team Defense I'm fine with that. This is why I asked for opinion on format, scoring etc etc

Keeper leagues are fun. The biggest downside is that turnover is hard to deal with. People aren't excited to take over bad teams.

Very true. I've dealt with that in the past. No way to guarantee someone won't leave your league at some point. All you can do is try to make it as fair as possible for any replacement owners.

I've joined leagues with fans of other teams, and would be willing to add a head to even things out if you guys need one. I most certainly would not want precedence over any of your own fans, but if you need an extra head for balance I am available.

I've been in a keeper league (going on its 10th year ) and have played IDP.

IDP isn't that bad, I've played with two IDP slots and there's always good players to put in. The one thing that I didn't like was IDP scoring.

For example, Tackles get rewarded but often a defensive player makes a poor defensive play and can still get a point for a tackle on that play. Two tackles on bad defensive plays shouldn't count the same as an interception, imo.

12 is a solid number for a league. If you need another niner fan to fill your league, let me know.

All this ff talk reminds me that I have to get my own league started soon (and that football is coming!)
