So I just did my first mock draft ever, how would you grade this team? I think this lineup is pretty sick but I'm not sure how it would stack up against other teams. Also a question...if a player like Bautista is listed as 3B/OF can I play him at either position whenever I want, or only when he is at that position in real life?

You can slot him at 3B or OF whenever you want...

Good to know, thanks. Another question...what's the usual strategy when it comes to drafting pitchers? Is it better to have all starters plus a closer? How valuable are relief pitchers? I tried to keep it balanced with my pitching staff but I'm not sure how it usually plays it out.

On a side note, I wish yahoo had more stats available for each player than just the usual HR, RBI, R, SB, and AVG. Looks like I'm gonna have to do my homework on some of these guys I'm not familiar with.

saves are the only stats that RP really get

you can do both though....some people blow off saves (h2h) and just load up on starters and load up on wins,k's

but some load up on rp's and keep their era/whip low while getting tons of saves


in roto though you want a balanced team more than in h2h

Monday or Friday evenings are the only weekdays I could do this.

Roto league draft is set for Mon, March 12 @ 8:45pm CDT.
Would like to have 1 additional team in this league... but if we dont get it...then thats fine.


H2H... we need at least 1 other team before we can draft...so i'll wait till we have the 1 other team before setting a date for that one.
