yeah that is getting out of hand but that being said who is to say its not the same fuckers that started some of the riot that had nothing to do with the canucks. the family took a huge chance outing themselves for this and are paying the price. that being said everyone is being outed anyway because of social media. its crazy all around

some people want blood ... no better than the rioters

imo ... he should be allowed to continue to compete in water polo.

HOWEVER, his taxpayer funded university scholarship should be toast and if he ever makes a national water polo team he should never ever receive any type of taxpayer assistance/stipend from the Canadian Olympic Association

this kid is one of the ones that bothers me the most. he comes from a soild family and has or had a bright future with polo canada. he says he got caught up in the moment but video shows him 3 times trying to light the police car on fire. Im not sure that is caught up in the moment. I want the police to prosecute him to the full extent of the law. doing something stupid is one thing but being so involved in a riot is so far worse than any other act. it really was as easy as just going home when it started. this kid choose to stay and be heavily involved.

If Eric Lamaze can continue with the national equestrian team after all his troubles with cocaine, then Nathan should be able to re-join the water polo team after some retribution to the VPD and a few hundred hours of community service.

I'm glad there weren't cameras all over when I was 17. I did the same dumb shit. Tear gas burns your skin when you grab the cannister...

Give the kid credit, He waived his rights as a minor to make a public apology. He should be charged, pay his debt to society, do many hours of community service, give speeches at schools about his mistakes, and his dad being a surgeon should pay for the car. Maybe then he should be allowed a scholarship.

i see no negative in this. I agree. except the scholarship that should be gone

also another story of a rioter saying he is trapped in his own home.

Yea, to be gifted money like that you need to maintain a certain public image... He failed. Regardless if he is not a full adult yet, he should not be entitled to any financial aid in going to college. If his father is indeed a surgeon, shouldn't be a problem for him to continue his schooling.

He already had scholarships. I feel if he did everything I pointed out, he should be given a second chance. We all made mistakes when we were young, some just much worse than others. We are a society of forgiving people. If someone like Vick can return to the NFL and make millions again, this kid deserves a second chance after reparations.

people of the stores should go to this kids house and start smashing his windows and then get a couple to start having sex in his front lawn.

all these people should be charged and spend at least 2 years in prison.
