Almost no player is ready at the draft

And those relievers most say are…usually aren’t

Baseball has the biggest learning curve by far of any pro sport for a reason

But 2020 showed up some of these guys are held back too long.

But the rules encourage it

i do understand that the learning curve... but it is actually getting better... baseball is as young as ever... and with the new rules, the pitch clock and bigger bases, both those actually make athleticism more important, which will just make baseball even younger...

i am hoping all that means a more direct path... thats all... i also think this will help small market teams a lot... because they may take the "failed" prospects, who have only failed because of the learning curve... may make it easier for those teams to find the diamond in the rough...

After they expand to 32 teams there'll be 16 teams in each league. I have the perfect format...
-Go back to 154 games.
-Play every league foe 10 times (15 teams x 10 = 150 games)
-Play four interleague games.
-That's a balanced schedule, my friends.
-Perfection.

Of course, I would also like to see a geographical realignment with four divisions of eight.
