How did that abortion of a football game win for Goodell and the NFL. That was a terrible game and to think, one of the teams was leading a division in the Nat'l Football League.
I think some folks have been sniffing the perfume bottle. dad told you over and over. This team was 5-6 and you are referring to them like they were 8-3. The team has 15 guys they picked up in the 7-11 parking lot. I know, all of us wanted to win but you have to consider we were light on talent to start the season and that has been depleted twice.

This. We were (are?) a division leader in name only. We may get to 7 or 8 wins on a weak schedule, but like dad has been saying all year - we really are about a 6 win team.
Please don't take my mentioning of the Skins being division leaders as an endorsement that I think they were any good. I wasn't trying to imply the Skins were a good team. I was saying that the NFC East was a very shitty division. Quite frankly, after watching that train-wreck. I don't want the Skins to go to the playoffs. I wouldn't of wanted them to go with anything less than a 9=7 record and that's still a garbage record.
The only real reason I'm hoping the Skins don't lose the rest of their games. Is because it would anally r*pe the "Who's gonna be the Skins QB for next year and maybe beyond?" situation into a fill blown clusterfuck. Make no mistake, while I've teetered back n forth on Cuz pretty much from week to week. This game tonight, Cuz's performance, and what I perceive as Gruden trying to protect him possibly even at the expense of winning the game. I'm pretty much back to square one that Cousins really ain't shit. Even with playing at home, where he was 5-1 winning the last 5 in a row. Had some gaudy ass numbers his last 3 games, a golden opportunity to put a considerable dent in his "Crumbles in nat'l televised game" situations . And playing to solidify first place status the NFC East. He came out and with all that incentive he laid 2 eggs, a piano and a rotten grapefruit.
And while he didn't get much help from the OL, or the RBs. He had more than ample help from the defense. Who gave him the ball back three times in great position. What did he do with it though? Led the skins to 9 funky ass points. being unable or totally incapable of leading a TD scoring drive till the last funky ass minute of the game. I don't think he audible out of a single play even the called play that was going straight in the Cowboys blitzes. Today was a test, a big test, that imo Cousins clearly and most certainly failed.

You know what man, going into this game I don't think that we could literally find one person that didn't believe that this was a big time opportunity for Kirk to step up his game. Maybe you're right when you say that Gruden may be keeping tight reins on him. At some point the young man is going to have to be let loose. How long can it be reasonable to keep using, "well he still has ( insert number here) games to prove himself? There are now only 4 of those left and if Gruden is indeed not allowing him to ball out he's at the point where one of two things are apparent.
1. He's doing an incredible disservice to the young man
.......................OR.................
2. There's nothing more to him than what's been shown.
Skins are an awful team, not that my Giants are any better
Last night was a Christmas gift to all NFL Fans, no one should have to see that team in the playoffs
