What a great coach!! I always hated when my Trojans had to play his Huskies. Always knew it was going to be a tough game, even when we won.

1990: USC goes to Washington ranked #5 in the nation. Coach James Huskies beat us 31-0. After the game USC qb Todd Marinovich said: "All I saw was purple. No numbers. Just purple"!!

I was there that day, and that is the one and only time I saw a quarterback take a serious beating by a defense like that in my entire life.....

And that was cause coach James made a change two years prior, he knew the game was changing and he knew speed was now the game, rest in peace coach you were a class act...
