Not in this one, apparently. In the 4th movie, he only had an after-credits cameo, though he did appear in the Ash vs. Evil Dead TV series.

Apparently director Lee Cronin also has the lone screen writing credit. Sam Raimi has a writer credit, but that might be just because it is based on his intellectual property and he is a producer. Or he might well be a "story consultant" (ie: did the story outline of some sort with Cronin).

Also, Bruce Campbell is a producer on this with Raimi. I don't know if he actually has any responsibilities, or whether he is just along for the ride. But I do respect Raimi's loyalty to his friends!

It’s their baby. Evil Dead wouldn’t exist without Raimi, Campbell & Tapert.
