Yeah but John Q Pubic doesn't know that, like you said they see someone doing stupid chit and come to the conclussion he doesn't care! So why care about him? I don't hope he fails but he will, getting drafted by Cleveland made sure of that...

True. Which is why I have always said it will all come down to what he does on the field. If he wins, no one will care about his partying. If he loses, then that will be why.

John Q Public doesn't seem to mind because he is the no#1 selling jersey. Weird though that it is

oh, he's a punk ass douche for sure. Doesn't mean he is a JaMarcus Russel slacker-type though.

Agreed. Who knows maybe he gets on the field & amazes everyone. Although knowing the Browns don't have alotta weapons when he finally gets on the field he's gonna find out quickly he's not in college anymore. His scrambling style of football doesn't have a very long self life at the NFL level.

agreed. I have never thought he would do well in the NFL, CLE sealed that fate. He's too small and plays on instinct, which is to run. He will find the edge much harder to get in the NFL. he isn't going against one or two top defenders like in college. In the NFL, every defender is as fast if not faster than he is.

He needs at least one season on the bench, in the film room, in someones ear about the speed of the game. He has no one to mentor him in CLE, and will be put out their too soon. If he could have fallen and been picked by someone with a no brainer starter, that would have been best. Behind a Brady, Rodgers, Brees type older QB who isn't going to be benched.

He also had some strong comments for Jon Bon Jovi.

"Man, fuck Jon Bon Jovi!" "You might as well take this city, throw it in the river, and let it go Niagra Falls."

Bon Jovi is trying to buy the Bills and move it to Toronto.

Fuck me! Fuck Andre the has-been. At least I know when to switch teams. Bitch.

or that they are color blind and have no sense of fashion.

the possible hate is just media junk and stupid fans. I want to see him succeed because its obviously rare with all the QBs that have come and gone. 4 weeks to see if this takes better shape for him.

Not like the Browns' jersey has changed much over the years - couldn't they have just re-patched their Tim Couch/Kelly Holcomb/Jeff Garcia/Trent Dilfer/Charlie Frye/Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn/Jake Delhomme/Seneca Wallace/Colt McCoy/Brendan Weeden/Brian Hoyer jerseys?

Not if they burned them all like some did the Lebron ones when he went to Miami

Failure is much more common than success. Thats obviously what makes success so special. Its also why people seem that they would rather root against than for. Because failure is easier to predict, and people like to feel smart by their predictions coming through.

I am a fan of manziel football skils. As a person he shows a lack of dedication to the NFL. So after he fail in cleveland he may grow up and become a decent player elsewhere

The kid is never gonna "grew up". He's had many of chances too and yet he still does the same old shit.

Does he have Rare Talent that the NFl is looking for now. Oh Fuck Ya

But his maturity will make him a Ryan Leaf fame bust

Kid is only 21 what do you expec?t. I know when I was 21 and working , my off time I made him look like an alter boy. But then again I wasnt rich, wasnt famous, there was no such things as cell phones, to take selfies etc. He should listen to his teammates and not alienate the team. Having a hard time studying the playbook, alcohol can do that

The guy has made some provocative choices so far. The money gesture to me screamed he wants to get paid more than he wants to be a great QB. He knows people are waiting for him to fail so he spends his time partying. That is all fine and dandy now but what about Week 6? Week 9? Week 12?

The browns do not have the offensive talent to bail Manziel out nor is he talented enough to run roughshod over NFL teams. He has been the big fish in a small pond and now he is in a pond that is comprised of big fish. His talent won't save him and he will have to start using his brain. If he can do that, more power to him. Party it up. If he struggles, then everyone will know he is not committed. People are waiting for him to fail and he is giving them all the reasons.
