In fairness to Carlos, this hasn't been a story of a super high draft pick who simply sucked once he hit the bigs (see Carson Fulmer). Much of his career has been derailed by injury after injury.

I was glad to see him dropped from the roster - but I also thought at $3 million he probably was worth the risk - with Katz as the new pitching coach. The way the year started I lost some faith in Katz, but if he can right the pitching ship -that would be a major blessing.
