Well, I wouldn't say that. A shootout win is still worth the 2 points instead of one for the OT loss, but it just doesn't help when it comes to the tiebreak is all. That SO win could keep a team from being in a tie in the first place.

I guess that makes a little more sense that way. Clearly I'm going to side the other way, but merely for this year
