I'm ok with the Wizards because if Wall and Beal play to their potential, they should get close to 50 wins but they have trouble doing that due to lack of focus throughout the 82 game marathon.

Not having Gortat on the roster should account for at least a few extra wins. Say what you like about Howard - at least the guy is not going to miss as many shots from 2' away from the basket as Gortat.

Career wise, they're almost identical. Gortat is at .714 and Howard is at .716 from 0-3 feet. Gortat is better at every other distance.

that and Gortat and Wall hated eachother....lol.....it does seem like Wall is not well-liked guy overall though.

I would just love to have a coworker that I despise give me a Rolex for a Christmas present.

Well perhaps for their careers, but I find it hard to believe that any big man had as many problems making layups as Gortat did late in the season. Towards the tail end of the season & their playoff series the guy was utterly useless.

I miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight give Utah and OKC their own tier.....MIGHT. It would be hard for me to see either of those teams missing the playoffs.

I definitely agree they are the two teams of that group least likely to miss the playoffs. But, would you be surprised if they finished 6th and 8th?

I wouldn't.

I think every one of those teams has potential to win 50+ games and they could finish within 5-6 games of each other again.
