That was before the Packers game, so who was overrating the offense? It seemed like even after the QB switch people were saying that offense needed to be carried by the defense, that other than FG kicker (punter's great and returns were good) the offense was the weak point, etc.
KC's article about the Atlanta game is pretty awful. I'm especially sick of people saying that Aldon is struggling just because Justin has been out/hurt. Anyone who has seen Aldon play can see that his banged-up shoulder is affecting him. He's showing virtually none of the aggressiveness, speed, power, and bend that he showed early in the year. This happened to coincide roughly with Justin going down, but I remarked in the Pats game that he was not rushing assertively. He was trying to use some sort of juke move that just wasn't working. It's pretty obvious to me that he isn't 100%, and it's affecting his play. He had a couple solid power moves this past week, but nothing like what he was showing earlier in the year. There's no doubt that Justin's injury has played a part, but a healthy Aldon would still be having an impact even without Justin. The combination of losing Justin and Aldon playing tentatively just killed our pass rush, just as you'd expect when arguably your two best pass rushers are out or playing at less than 100%.
