Eric Duhatschek update

One of the best (if not the best) hockey writers in the business underwent major chest surgery last month and I'm pleased to report he is out of hospital and his health is improving day-by-day. He hopes to be back in about a month or so, which is great news.

/Hopefully, down the road, he'll be able to supplant that asshat Eric Francis from the Hotstove on HNIC.

Agreed. so glad he's not on the hotstove anymore. It's not like he ever reported any real news anyways, besides which Russian hockey player that teenage loser tennis bimbo Kournikova was bangin that week...

"Jiminy Crickets" was another Meeker-ism - Was the first guy I can remember that made extensive use of the telestrator on replays though and as you say, definitely knowledgeable.
